Print students have sat in on editorial board meetings at USA Today, had lunch with reporters and editors from Time, The Washington Post, Newsweek as well as public relations executives.

“My favorite outing was a trip taken with a small group of my peers to see a taping of Face the Nation. We got to sit in the control room and watch the controlled chaos that comes with switching cameras, cueing commercial breaks, and repairing mistakes. Then following the taping we were honored with a visit by the very congenial and accommodating Bob Schieffer. It was such a thrill not only to get to meet one of the legends of the craft, but to have a meaningful dialogue with him as well!”
